📌 The Role in Plain Terms

This sits inside Amex's Operations Team, where the day-to-day is a mix of customer-facing work and behind-the-scenes banking process management. You'd handle both inbound and outbound calls, process new banking product applications, and keep everything running to the compliance, fraud, risk and AML standards Amex holds itself to.

💼 What You'd Actually Be Doing

Operations associate handling customer calls and applications
  • Process new banking product applications end to end
  • Take inbound and make outbound customer calls
  • Set up and maintain accounts in line with compliance requirements
  • Check applications against regulatory, fraud, risk, AML and due-diligence standards
  • Move efficiently across multiple internal systems and screens
  • Keep account records accurate and up to date

Eligibility checklist
  • Bachelor's degree, with no more than 5 years between finishing your degree and your joining date
  • Haven't previously been enrolled in a Government Apprenticeship program
  • Comfortable with close attention to detail
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
